Yay Squirrels!! I’m not on Etsy, but I made bacon-egg-and-cheeseSquirrel shaped dog biscuits recently. I made the larger squirrels for big dogs and little acorns for smaller pups. The recipes are posted and super easy. Everyone that bought them told me later that their furry friends couldn’t wait to eat ‘em.

OK. So this year our espaliered apple trees only managed to squeeze out TWO normal sized apples, the rest are all stunted midgetty ones.
The Minx and I would check on those apples every day to see whether they were big enough and ripe enough for her lunchbox.
Yesterday we went to check the tree and ONE OF THE APPLES WAS GONE. We found it later, half eaten, in another part of the garden. Yes, it ignored all the midgetty squirrel-sized apples and then didn’t even have the decency to eat it all.
Stealing apples from little girls. Evil. Pure evil.
